Feline Underground Rescue was founded in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. Our resources are dedicated to rescuing many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.

Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their forever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters are carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors has designed with certain parameters to adhere to.

Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life are welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.

A local Veterinarian that we partner with is Dr. Lara Downs at Temecula Valley Animal Hospital, located at 26612 Margarita Rd. Ste #104, Murrieta CA 92563. Their website is www.temeculavalleyanimalhospital.com. If you are searching for a Vet in the Murrieta/Temecula area, please contact them to make an appointment and show support for their clinic because they support our rescue.
